Privacy policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

This policy explains what happens to your data when you use Zashify. It is meant to be read: the short version is that Zashify processes your files in your browser and stores almost nothing on its servers.

Who this policy covers

This policy covers the Zashify website and every tool published on it. Zashify is operated by the Zashify team, referred to here as we or us. If a question is not answered on this page, the contact page is the right place to ask it.

The short version

Most Zashify tools run entirely in your browser. Files you open in a browser tool are never uploaded, never stored and never seen by us.

Two small lookups do need a network request: the email domain check and the MX record lookup. Both send only the text you typed, an email address or a domain name, and never a file.

What we do not collect

Zashify does not create accounts, does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and does not embed third-party trackers. We do not build visitor profiles and we do not sell data. There is no newsletter signup and no marketing pixel on this site.

Information that reaches our servers

When you use the email domain check or the MX lookup, our server receives the email address or domain name you submitted, together with the usual technical details of a web request such as IP address, timestamp and browser user agent. We use it only to perform the lookup and return the result.

Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard access logs for security and troubleshooting.

Files and tool output

Files processed by browser tools are handled in your device memory. Nothing is written to our storage, and closing the tab discards the working data. Results are downloaded by your browser directly.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we process lookup requests because you asked us to (Article 6(1)(b)), and we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not rely on consent, because there is no optional tracking to consent to.

How long data is kept

Lookup input is not stored by the application after the response is generated. Hosting access logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period for security purposes and then rotated out. We do not maintain a database of visitors or of the values you check.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent data. The only third party involved in normal operation is the hosting provider that serves this website and runs the lookup endpoints. Information may be disclosed where the law requires it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because we keep no accounts and no lookup history, there is usually no stored record to retrieve, but you can always write and ask.

Changes to this policy

If the way Zashify handles data changes, for example when accounts or paid plans arrive, this page will be updated before the change takes effect and the date at the top will change with it.

Contact

Privacy questions can be sent to the address on our contact page. We answer them the same way we answer everything else: directly.
