Is there a limit on the content of a QR code?
Yes. Each QR version holds a fixed amount of data — around 1,200 characters at the highest error-correction level and more than 2,900 characters at the lowest. Longer text needs a lower error-correction level to fit.
Does the QR code generator upload my content?
No. The code is generated entirely in your browser with a canvas, so your link, text or Wi-Fi password never leaves your device.
Which error-correction level should I choose?
L stores the most data, H survives the most damage. M or Q are good all-round choices; use H if the code may get scratched or printed small.
